Goodbye, Yong Siak

The flagship Tiong Bahru boutique on Yong Siak Street was launched in 2015. The boutique's offering expanded with the introduction of re:erth, a skincare brand and Source, modern basics for men and women in 2021. 

Local design collective made up of Studio Yono, Aaah House and Trigger Happy came onboard in 2023, bringing an elevated offering with their homeware and design objects. 

We founded the Nana & Bird brand in 2010. It grew from a monthly pop-up store to one of Singapore's leading purveyors of independent international and Singaporean brands. 

It would not have been possible without your unwavering support. So many of you have grown to be dear friends of ours. We will forever cherish memories.

We believe the savvy modern woman has the luxury to make choices - valuing quality and workmanship. 

Nana & Bird had committed to a considered shift away from stocking collections by seasons to focus its curation on timeless, seasonless designs. 

As we examine our footprint on this world, Re/love was launched to achieve the vision of enabling every women to build an enduring wardrobe with authentic preloved luxury pieces. 

The traditional brick and mortar retail requires a constant stream of new products to be introduced for business viability. 

We loved being a platform to introduce emerging brands and over the years, we have had the privilege to work with so many wonderful designers and collaborators. 

However, the insatiable nature of retail no longer resonate with our personal ethos towards consumption and fashion circularity. 

The essence with which the brand was founded remains unchanged. 

A collective vision among two best friends to build a brand that allow us to grow as individuals. 

The spirit to challenge ourselves - and the love for fashion and retail - is ever present. We will be taking a break to rethink the next iteration of Nana & Bird. 

We thank each and every one of you for the beautiful memories and the indelible mark you have left in us. We will be forever grateful for this experience.
