New beginnings for nana & bird

Here’s to never ever giving up on our dreams.

Never giving up on our dreams we did.

On 31st May we bid farewell to our homes along Chay Yan street and Eng Hoon street in the quaint neighbourhood of Tiong Bahru dotted with pre-war flats. It was a bittersweet farewell but in less than a month and a half, we opened our new store at Scotts Square on 2nd July.

Stepping through double doors, you will be greeted with a palette of colours at K+ nana & bird space. Flanked to your right as you enter, you will find along the walls apparel for kids from the likes of Wolf & Rita and Agatha Cub, in both pastel and vibrant colours. As you walk further in, accessories like leather bags and bold jewellery are displayed neatly yet exuding personality.

Because we only curate what we love, we have brought back the independent labels we love and carefully selected, many of them carried exclusively at K+ nana & bird, such as Yumumu, Heinui, Milk & Thistle and THE FOUR for women. Psychedelic patterns, bold and rich colours, as well as muted tones of coral pink and fossil grey line the mint green walls and wooden shelves of the store.

This new concept is a nana & bird collaboration with K+

K+,  is a curatorial space that includes a gallery, retail and workshop component. K+ aspires to introduce to Singapore independent brands and collaborators that are lesser known, not the run of the mill high street brands and celebrating their creativity.

nana & bird has always strived to put the design and product story of the brands we work with first to provide a retail experience unlike those that stores along the high street extend. The essence of who we are has not changed, and we are looking forward to sharing our brands and their story with you in this new space.

Come on down, have a chat and cuppa with us!
