In addition to our kids and lifestyle range, Tellkiddo from Stockholm, Sweden, has joined in nana & bird kids bandwagon! We spoke to the lovely, Maria Sabbath, who is responsible for all the creative doings, ranging from paper bags storage to décor prints which are all hand painted and printed.
Tell us about yourself and what you do
I’m an Illustrator and a Graphic designer based in Stockholm Sweden. I’m 30 years old living with my husband, son and two cats.
How did you get started with Tellkiddo and how long has it been?
Tellkiddo started summer 2014, during my maternity leave I wanted to find cool prints and useful storage for my son and could not find any I liked. So I started to produce my own.
Any artist that you admire and which is your favourite work by them?
I really admire a lot of people and Cassandra Rhodin is one of the person I admire and I would be really glad if she liked my stuff too. She has designed for many companies and the collection she did for H&M home is just amazing!
What are you having fun with most right now?
The best thing right now is all the support I get via Instagram. Tellkiddo would not have been this fun without my supporters on Instagram.
Who is your biggest inspiration?
The nature and my son is where I get my inspiration.
Tellkiddo is now available at nana & bird kids at eng hoon street and nanaandbird.com.
